Adding or removing a symbol from the MT5 symbol list #

In MT5 you can show and hide symbols as long as your broker provides those symbols, it doesn't matter if you have data for them or not.

In MT5 you can go to View -> Symbols and it will show the symbols and classifications from your broker.

There you can select and hide or show any specific symbol. You can do this by double clicking on the symbol or by clicking the “Show” / “Hide” buttons at the bottom left of the window.

After that your symbols will show in the Market Watch for live charts and also in the Strategy Tester for backtests.
